August fun
Julia has packed more fun in to the waning days of summer.
She spent some time with her Godmother Peggy, from California. She went straight for Peggy's dangling earrings immediately after this shot.
She has increasingly become a fan of the beach and has been more amenable to the New England water, especially as it has warmed recently. She especially loves her cush ride to the beach - the best part is taking out each plastic beach toy, playing with it for a second, dropping it on the ground, and watching Mom pick it up. The only thing in the wagon when we get to the beach is Julia. Mom has everything else!
Every night after dinner, Julia takes a walk. She hits the sidewalk and often makes it for most of the block and back. She falls a few times each walk, but always straight down. We've realized that one of the best things about diapers is extra padding for her behind!
